I just copied it to my flash drive from a computer lab pc.<br /> <br /> I played around with Octave as instructed, But I still don&#039;t understand it very well. I plotted a couple graphs, but I don&#039;t understand the proper syntax format for Octave, I got many syntax errors because I&#039;m not familiar with the symbols and code for entering functions and commands.<br /> <br /> If I enter:<br /> y=x;<br /> plot (x,y)<br /> <br /> then it plots the graph of y=x.<br /> <br /> But when I enter:<br /> y=x^2;<br /> plot (x,y)<br /> <br /> it says: error: For A^B, A must be square.<br /> <br /> I&#039;m confused, but Hopefully I&#039;ll figure out more in the future.<br /> <br /> I spent 1 hour installing this program and trying to figure it out.<br /> David</div>
