Comments about sampling

While recording there can be a lot of high frequency noises that human ears cannot perceive; But when we pass this signal by a analog-to-digital converter, it is very possible thats this noises will be heard by human ears and it wont be a nice sound. This is why is very important to pass the signal by a low pass filter before converting with an analog-to-digital converter, with this low pass filter all the high frequency noises will be eliminated.

Nyguist Theorem

If you sample a band limited signal at a sample rate greater than 2 times the highest frequency component, you have lost no information about the signal and you can reconstruct it from the samples.
