Overview

With the advent of netbooks, the hacking community is finally provided with a personal computer that is both functional and cheap enough that one may hack it to pieces without overwhelming fiscal remorse should the project end in a fiery blaze. I need a portable work station for monitoring, controlling and programing various MCU based projects in the field, a netbook might be small enough to fit into a project hard-case as well as have enough computing power to manage the small computing tasks that might become necessary.
